Driver Information

The minimum age is 21. Drivers aged between 21-24 will be subject to a young drivers surcharge of 20 eur + tax per day to a maximum of 200 eur + tax. The minimum age on larger vehicles depends on the supplier and car size.

Licence

The driver must have held a licence for at least 1year. If the licence is not from an EU country then an International licence may be required.

Endorsements

Accepted with most suppliers. If drink/drug/dangerous driving then the points must be over 5 yrs old.

CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) & TW (Theft Waiver)

This is included in the holiday autos rate but it may still be offered locally.

Excess

Between 340 eur and 3823.97 eur depending on the vehicle size and the supplier. This can be refunded from holiday autos according to our damage excess refund policy.

insurance

CDW Waiver

This cover is optional and can be purchased locally, charged between 5 eur & 6.10 eur + tax per day depending on the supplier and the vehicle size. This waivers or reduces the excess depending on the supplier.

Super TW

This cover is optional and can be purchased locally charged between 5 eur - 9 eur + tax per day. It is not available with all suppliers, this waivers or reduces the excess depending on the local supplier.

P.A.I (Personal Accident Insurance)

This cover is optional and can be purchased locally, charged between 5.29 eur - 10 eur + tax per day. Certain suppliers charge 5 eur + tax for rentals lasting between 1-4 days, 20 eur + tax for rentals lasting between 5-7 days and 2.86 eur per day for rentals over 8 days.

extras

Additional Driver

The first additional driver is free of charge; all other drivers are charged between 19.23 eur - 21.77 eur + tax for the rental. Please check at time of booking.

Delivery & Collection

A delivery and collection service is not available with all suppliers and only on request with some suppliers. It is charged between 18.60 eur and 22 eur + tax. If the delivery is over 30 km or out of city limits then the charge will be 1 eur + tax per km.

Out of Hours

This service is only available at certain locations and is charged between 15.24 eur + tax each way and 30.48 eur + tax each way. Some suppliers will wait no more than 2 hrs after the office opening hours, charged at 38 eur per hour.

Use of Vehicle

Any reconditioning charges that are incurred will be charged to the customer.
The vehicle must not be used for the carriage of persons or goods on a gratuitous basis.
Damage caused to the vehicle from overhead objects are not covered.
The vehicle must not be used for sub-letting.
If the customer fails to produce the pre-paid holiday autos voucher before the end of the rental they will be charged for the hire and a 25 eur charge will be made if the supplier refunds the rental.
If anti- theft devices are fitted to the vehicle they must be used.
Oil checks, tyre pressure, water levels etc. must be checked.
If the vehicle is seized by customs and excise then the customer is fully responsible for any restoration charges.
If the keys are lost the customer will be charged 153 eur with certain suppliers.

Personal Data.

The suppliers will keep the personal data that is provided by the customer at time of booking. If the contract is breached then this information may be disclosed.
