Driver Information

The minimum age is between 21-25 depending on car size. Drivers aged between 21-25 may be required to pay a young drivers surcharge between 6.20 eur & 10 eur + tax per day depending on the supplier. Some suppliers allow 18-20 year olds to drive with a surcharge of 13.01 eur & 5.6 eur + tax per day.

Licence

The driver must have held a licence for between 1-3 years depending on vehicle size and the supplier. International licences may be required with some suppliers if the drivers licence is not from an EU country.

Endorsements

Only accepted with some suppliers. If the endorsements are for drink/drug/dangerous driving then they must be over 5 years old.

CDW (Collision Damage Waiver)& TW (Theft Waiver)

This is included in the holiday autos rate but it may still be offered locally.

Excess

CDW excess is between 258 eur-645.58 + tax. TW excess is between 258.32 eur - 1291.15 eur + tax. In Sicily the excess is between 361.52 eu - 2582.28 eur + tax. This can be reclaimed fom holiday autos according to our damage excess refund policy.

Excess Waiver

This cover is optional and can be purchased from the local supplier. CDW excess waiver is between 4.64 eur - 9.30 eur + tax per day. TW excess waiver is between 3.10 eur - 8.06 eur + tax per day. For rentals in Sicily the waiver is between 3.10- 15.49 eur + tax per day and for luxury vehicles 30.99 eur + tax per day. This waivers or reduces the excess depending on the supplier.

P.A.I (Personal Accident Insurance)

This cover is optional and can be purchased from the local supplier, charged between 3.62 eur - 11.36 eur per day + tax depending on the supplier.

Super P.A.I

This cover is optional and is available with one supplier charged at 10.33 eur- 232.40 eur per day + tax.

Additional Driver

Charged between 1.09 eur - 4.65 eur + tax per day, depending on the supplier. Please check at time of booking.

Delivery & Collection

This service is not available with all suppliers. Where suppliers have offices the charge is between 15.49 eur and 20.66 eur. Where they don't have offices there will be a km charge between 0.78 eur and 1.03 eur + tax with a minimum charge of 20.65 eur. The charges are each way.

Out of Hours

This service is not available at all locations. Charged between 21.69 eur - 30.99 eur + tax each way. The suppliers must have flight details. Some locations have drop boxes for out of hours returns but you will be liable for the car until the office re-opens.

Use of Vehicle

The vehicle must not be used to propel or tow.
The vehicle must not be used to carry passengers for hire.
In the event of an accident the relevant information should be obtained from the third party.
If an accident has occurred due to your negligence then you must compensate the supplier for all damages sustained to the vehicle.
You must check the oil and water.
You must notify the supplier within 24 hours of receiving any fine.
The supplier is not liable for any damage or financial loss caused to your property due to mechanical fault of the vehicle.

Documentation

You must keep the documentation supplied secure and in the car.

Personal Data

The supplier will keep a record of the data supplied by you.
