Driver Information

The minimum age with most suppliers is 23. There is a young drivers surcharge between 6.35 eur & 8eur + tax per day. The maximum age is 74 with most suppliers and drivers aged between 70 - 74 will be required to pay the above surcharge. The minimum age on a premium car is 30.

Licence

The driver must have held a licence for between 1 & 2 years depending on the supplier.

Endorsements

For minor offences you can drive if you are over 23 yrs old. For drink/drug/dangerous driving or any other major offence the supplier will not let you drive.

Excess

Between 318 eur -1200 eur depending on the vehicle size. This can be reclaimed from holiday autos according to our damage excess refund policy.

Excess Waiver

This cover is optional and can be purchased locally from the supplier charged, between 7.60 eur & 12.70 eur + tax per day. per day, depending on the vehicle size. Only available for drivers aged between 25-69 with some suppliers. This waivers or reduces the excess depending on the supplier.

P.A.I (Personal Accident Insurance)

This cover is optional and can be purchased locally, charged between 5 eur & 12.70 eur per day depending on the size of the vehicle.

Delivery & Collection

This service is on request.The charges must be requested. Delivery and collection is not available with all suppliers.

Out of Hours

This service is on request with some suppliers and it is charged locally at 19 eur + vat .

Use of Vehicle

If the vehicle is not returned by the date stated and an extension has not been granted by the supplier then the insurance will not cover you and if you have an accident you will be liable for the total value of the car.
The vehicle must not be used to carry passengers or property for consideration expressed or implied.
The vehicle must not be used to tow.
The vehicle cannot be driven by anyone who suffers from any physical or mental infirmity or defect of vision or hearing.
If you cause damage to the vehicle due to hitting an overhead object you will be liable for the cost of the car.
In the event of an accident you must obtain the relevant information from the third party.
If the vehicle is damaged due to an accident or mechanical difficulties you must not drive the vehicle if it will cause more damage to the vehicle. The car must be left in a secure place.
The supplier will not be liable for any losses due to mechanical faults.
The supplier can end the rental and/or repossess the car if the contract is breached.
The vehicle must not be used on temporary, incomplete or unpaved roads.
The vehicle should be adequately protected from weather damage.
The vehicle should be correctly filled with the correct lubricants and the tyres should have enough air in them.
If the vehicle is damaged or stolen due to carelessness the supplier will not provide another vehicle.
You will be liable for any damaged caused by striking overhead objects.
