Driver Information

The minimum age is between 21- 25 depending on the vehicle size and supplier. A young drivers surcharge is applicable with most suppliers charged between 3 eur - 7.50 eur + tax per day. Some suppliers allow 18-21 years to drive but the surcharge is 40 eur. Maximum age with some suppliers is 70.

Licence

The driver must have held a licence for at least one year. In some cases drivers aged 21-24 must have held a licence for 2 years and hold 2 credit cards.

Endorsements

Only accepted with certain suppliers.

insurance

Excess

Between 450 eur - 3000 eur depending on vehicle size and supplier. This can be reclaimed from holiday autos according to our damage excess refund policy.

Excess Waiver

This cover is optional and can be purchased from the supplier locally between 4.5 eur - 17.5 eur + tax per day. This waivers or reduces the excess depending on the supplier.

P.A.I

(Personal Accident Insurance) This cover is optional and can be purchased from the supplier locally between 3 eur - 5 eur + tax per day.

extras

Additional Driver

Free of charge with certain suppliers, otherwise the charge is between 12.45 eur -20 eur + tax for the duration. Please check at time of booking.

Delivery and Collection This service is free of charge with some suppliers where they have offices, otherwise it is charged between 10 eur & 30 eur + tax each way. Certain suppliers charge per km between 0.50 &0.75 eur + tax.

Out of Hours

This service is between 7 eur & 24.94 eur + tax each way. The supplier must have the flight details. Certain suppliers have a drop box for out of hours returns but the car remains the liability of the customer until the office re-opens.

Use of Vehicle

The vehicle must not be used in violation of customs regulations.
The vehicle must not be used to pull or tow.
The vehicle must not be used for private hire.
In the event of a breakdown it is forbidden to sanction any kind of expenses for repair without the authorisation of the supplier.
If you use the incorrect fuel then you will be responsible for the repairs of the vehicle.
In the event of an accident you must obtain all of the relevant information from the third party.
The supplier is not responsible for the time lost due to the breakdown of a vehicle.
If the contract is breached then the supplier can repossess the car at any time.

Documentation

The documentation received with the car should be kept secure and you must carry it with you at all times.

Personal Data

The supplier will keep a record of the data that you provided at the time of rental.
